Dr. Eisenfeld received a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry as well as his Medical Degree at The University of Arizona. He spent an additional year in Tucson completing an internship in General Surgery and then completed a residency in Anesthesiology at The University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. An additional year of training was spent completing a fellowship in Pain Medicine to be eligible to receive a Certificate of Additional Qualification in Pain Medicine. In order to receive this additional certificate, one must be board certified in their primary specialty and have completed a one-year fellowship in a program recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (www.abms.org).

Dr. Eisenfeld returned to Arizona in 1995, where he was the first board-certified, fellowship-trained pain specialist in Scottsdale. In 2013, he founded V I P - Valley Integrated Pain. As a small practice based in Scottsdale, he is able to provide quality care under the direct supervision of a single physician. All consultations and care plans are performed by a board-certified, fellowship-trained pain physician. His practice consists of full-time acute and chronic pain medicine as well as regenerative medicine.
